A Prize Distribution Function was organized on October 22, 2025 (Wednesday) at 03.00 pm in the Council Hall, Administration Block to award prizes to the winners of various Hindi competitions conducted for the students and staff members of the Institute, in connection with the Hindi Fortnight Celebrations - 2025 in IIST, Valiamala. Prof. (Dr.) Sheela Kumari L, Principal, Govt. College Nedumangad was the Chief Guest for the function. Prof. Dipankar Banerjee, Vice - Chancellor delivered the welcome address. Prof. Kuruvilla Joseph, Pro - Vice Chancellor and Dr. Raju K. George, Outstanding Professor & Dean (SA, SW & OR) also addressed the audience. During the function ‘Hindi Manjari’, the Hindi Club of IIST was inaugurated by the chief guest along with other dignitaries by lighting the lamp. The Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Sheela delivered an inspiring address emphasizing the importance of the Hindi Manjari Club. She encouraged the students to actively participate in its activities. The event featured the release of the logo followed by a recitation of a poem by Ms. Ganga Raj, First year B. Tech. Aerospace Student. Thereafter, certificates were distributed to the winners by the Chief Guest. The event was widely attended by students, faculty members and staff of IIST.
