Dr. Jitendra Singh. A special highlight of the inaugural ceremony was the presence of India’s four Gaganyatris, who shared their experiences and inspired the students and youth, leaving a profound impact on the audience.

The IIST team actively participated in both events with great enthusiasm. The SSPACE team showcased an exhibition stall that drew significant attention and appreciation from visitors. Distinguished dignitaries including Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Space; Dr. V. Narayanan, Secretary, Department of Space; Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India; Pawan Kumar Goenka, Chairman INSPACE, along with several other eminent personalities, visited the IIST Pavilion at the exhibition.

Prof. Dipankar Banerjee (Vice Chancellor, IIST), Prof. Kuruvilla Joseph (Pro-Vice Chancellor, IIST), faculty, staff, students and and several IIST alumni were present at the grand celebrations in New Delhi, making the occasion a memorable one.
