IIST Library has organised an exclusive book exhibition - "The Gift of Wisdom" - on 16.12.2024, showcasing books donated by Dr B. N. Suresh, Honourable Chancellor, IIST. Shri. A. S. Kiran Kumar, Former Chairman, ISRO, inaugurated the exhibition.
Library has organised a “ Book Exhibition on and by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam”, as part of National Library Week Celebration in November 2024. Prof. Dipankar Banerjee, Director, IIST, inaugurated the exhibition.
A total of 1995 books worth approximately 12 lakh were collected from IIST and handed over to Engineering College, Munnar library which was affected very badly during the flood on 14 Nov 2018.
Library organises Book Fest in the library at regular intervals. This allows users to review the books' content and make recommendations for books they believe would be valuable additions to the library.
