National Mathematics Day
National Mathematics Day is observed on 22nd December every year across the country celebrating the birth anniversary of the legendary Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.
About the Speaker
Prof. K.N. Raghavan, KREA University, Chennai was formerly a faculty at IMSc is a renowned researcher and teacher who earned his PhD from Purdue University. He was elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences (FNASc) in 2011 in the Mathematical Sciences category. His area of specialization is Representation Theory.
