About Department
The Department of Mathematics offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level for Aerospace, Avionics and Engineering physics branches. Department also runs an M.Tech programme in Machine Learning and Computing. At present we have 11 faculty members working in various areas of pure as well as applied mathematics.
The research interests of the mathematics faculty are in the following broad areas.

- To be a centre of symbiosis of different branches of science, ultimately leading to novel material development, their testing and applications in diverse areas of Materials Science and Technology including future space programs of the nation.
